West is looking for software engineers and consultants to join its technical staff; both experienced and less experienced candidates are welcome. We are interested in people that are prepared to engage in long-term relationships; the added value of a knowledge-intensive organisation like ours is shown in the knowledge and experience that has been built, shared and provided to our clients over the years. West has an informal and open culture. You will be based at our Delft office, but secondment to other locations will also be an option.

What we require

• University degree or certificate of professional higher education
• Initiative-taker, able to work independently or as part of a team

• The need to work in a structured and accurate manner (think like a software engineer)
• Knowledge of Java, Linux and web technology is highly desirable.

Work placements

You can work for West even if you have yet to complete your studies. West often has interesting assignments that can be very suitable for trainee or graduation projects. Such projects are supervised by senior colleagues. A combination of part-time work and part-time study is also an option.
