The NATO C3 Agency (NC3A) is a part of NATO and has offices in Brussels and The Hague. NC3A supplies NATO member states with software consultancy and command and control applications. West has worked for NC3A since 1996. The majority of the projects that we carry out for them are based off-site, as most of these projects are confidential and can only be performed in the NC3A software lab. However, because we have been designated a "NATO Cleared Facility", we can also carry out NC3A projects at our office in Delft.
Rijkswaterstaat (RWS) is the executive department of the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management. RWS works to ensure the prevention of flooding and the provision of sufficient clean water for all consumers. RWS also works to promote a good and safe flow of traffic on the roads and the water (both national motorways and national waterways). West provides GIS systems and DTC (Dynamic Traffic Control) services to RWS. We offer RWS support in terms of architecture, system development, testing, hosting (including website vulnerability scans) and consultancy.
The European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) is part of the European Space Agency (ESA). The ESTEC is the largest ESA location and the technical heart of this organisation. With the exception of launching technology, all ESA projects are managed by ESTEC; whether it be projects involving scientific research or in the areas of space aviation, satellite technology (e.g. Galileo) or earth observation. West has worked for ESTEC since 1989 and has carried out several projects for this relation in the areas of space aviation, satellite communication and navigation.
Westland Energie supplies gas, electricity, energy products and advice to companies across the Netherlands. West created two web portals for this relation: one for business clients (operating mainly in horticulture) and one for consumers. Both portals offer a broad range of possibilities for arranging energy-related matters in a simple manner. Since delivery, West has taken care of the administration and maintenance of the portals as well as any functional additions.
